Surveying blood red trees
Lined up like stone sculptures
Her cheekbones are cut ice,
Implaccable, expressionless.
She has wrapped the feature tree
In blue velvet ribbon
Like a dress.
Steely eyes
Wield their power
A click of her heels,
You're out.
