Love Enjambment
People love poetry -
now its official.
Books judged by their cover,
shocked by the initial
lighting of fire,
the fanning of flames,
the rushing desire
for absorbing of names,
the aching and yearning
to capture and hold
the letters italic,
sans serif
and bold.
Give me a book
over the female form -
fill it with verse
and I’ll whip up a storm
that engulfs my heart
and keeps me warm
on the coldest of
cold winter nights.
