It is about time we all had a good chat
About what happened to the little brown rat.
Some people blamed the European cat
For the disappearance of the little brown rat,
But it was not the European cat
That did for the little brown rat.
It was climate change that did begat
The extinction of the little brown rat.
So politician and technocrat
Remember please the little brown rat.
As you stare at the rising thermostat
Seas rise like they did for the little brown rat.
Climate change is a fact.
Please remember the little brown rat.
