POETree
From tiny haikus,
great epics grow.
Sprouting little limericks,
tendril lines emerge,
formed from verdant words:
each of them
composed of divergent DNA -
Re-arrange the letters
and different species
are born.
AND.
DAN.
See?
Sapling stanzas grow thick,
create fingerling
branches,
burgeon into
canopy crowns.
The years turn into decades,
turn into centuries.
The once-sharp edged leaves
tatter,
and fall,
replaced by new growth,
and the previously relevant
becomes elegiac.
